Copyright and permissions

What we host, on what basis, and how a rights holder gets a file removed.

Updated 23 Oct 2026

What we host and why

  • Official exam material (syllabus, notifications, question papers, answer keys, cut-offs) is published by the commissions and boards for every candidate. We host copies so the links do not break when a portal moves them, and we name the issuing body on the page.
  • NCERT textbooks are published free by NCERT on its own portal. We host them unchanged and credit NCERT.
  • Original notes and study material are written for this platform or shared by their authors, who keep their rights.
  • Institute and publisher material (test series, class notes, books, magazines) is hosted only when the institute or publisher has agreed in writing. The agreement is recorded with the editions it covers; files outside it are not published, and the page shows the details and sample pages only.

If you hold the rights to something here

Write to teamcompeter@gmail.com with the page address, what you hold the rights to, and how we can confirm that. We take the file down within 48 hours of a clear notice and reply with what was done. If you would rather have your material here with your name on it, say so in the same mail; a written permission is enough, and the page will say it is shared with your permission.

What visitors may do

Files are for personal study. Please do not re-upload institute or publisher material elsewhere; link to the page instead, so the permission that covers it stays respected.
