What is inside

The file

This is the NEET UG 2020 question booklet, test code set F2, taken from a validated National Testing Agency archive link. The PDF is about 4.9 MB and shows each question in English and Hindi. It is the question paper alone; answers are not part of the file, so you must check solutions yourself or through your teachers.

What a NEET paper tests

• Physics and chemistry drawn from the Class 11 and 12 syllabus.
• Biology, split into botany and zoology, usually the largest share of marks.
• Single-correct objective questions with negative marking for wrong answers.

Making the most of a 2020 paper

Older papers are valuable because the NCERT-centred style has stayed stable. Attempting the 2020 paper shows how much direct textbook recall the test demands, and where it adds application and calculation.

A sitting plan

1. Work in a three-hour window with an OMR-style sheet.
2. Take biology first if that is your strength; it banks quick marks.
3. Do not guess blindly; mark uncertain items and return.
4. Afterwards, tally marks and examine negative-mark losses.

Answer sheet habits

Also remember that this was a pen-and-paper sitting, so practise bubbling answers neatly and check the serial number after every ten responses.

Set variants

The testing agency prints several sets of the same paper with the same questions in a different order to prevent copying. Your score on set F2 is equivalent in difficulty to the other sets, so it is as good as any for practice.

Scoring and review

After the sitting, count correct, wrong and unattempted answers separately. Because wrong answers lose marks, a high attempt rate with poor accuracy can score lower than a careful attempt of fewer questions. Check how many of your errors came from half-remembered NCERT lines; these are the cheapest to fix. Next, look at calculation questions in physics and chemistry and see whether units, signs or formulas caused the slip. Writing the corrected solution by hand fixes the method in memory better than reading someone else’s answer.
