The file in brief
Arabic is a smaller language option at the SSLC stage, and students who choose it often struggle to find enough past papers. This PDF fills part of that gap. Titled SSLC 2018 Arabic, it has five pages and weighs about 1 MB. It sits in a Kerala study collection alongside other SSLC subject files from the same year.
Reasons to practise from it
- Language marks depend on accurate script, spelling and sentence formation, which only repeated writing builds.
- A complete year’s sheet shows how long answers should be and how the paper is divided.
- Because few printed sources exist for this subject, any genuine past paper is worth keeping.
How a week of use could look
| Day | Task |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | Read the whole sheet and mark unfamiliar words |
| Day 2 | Learn those words with meanings and write sample sentences |
| Day 3 | Attempt the paper in exam time |
| Day 4 | Review with your Arabic teacher and fix script errors |
| Day 5 | Rewrite weak answers from memory |
Fitting it to the syllabus
Look up the chapters in your Arabic textbook that correspond to each question type, such as prose, poetry, grammar or translation, and tick them off as you cover them. Where the sheet asks for something that feels unfamiliar, ask whether your present textbook still teaches it. The board changes content from time to time, so your class teacher’s list should always overrule an older paper.
Writing tips for this subject
Keep a steady line direction, leave consistent gaps between words, and check dots and vowel marks at the end instead of during writing so that your speed holds. Practise short paragraphs daily; a few lines each evening do more than one long session before the test.
Finding a reviewer
Arabic answers are hard to judge alone, because small slips in script or vowel marks change meaning. If your school has an Arabic teacher, hand over the finished attempt on a single sheet and ask for comments on spelling, sentence order and neatness. If a teacher is not available, a senior student or a madrasa instructor may be glad to read it. Keep the corrected version and compare it with your next attempt to see whether the same corrections keep coming back.
Before you print
The paper is from 2018 and should be treated as practice material, not a forecast of future questions. For additional Class 10 revision in print, Competer carries school-level sets that arrive at your door.
