What you get
This is the Hindi version of the Vision IAS Mains test series for 2025. It covers Tests 1 through 23. Per the source posts, every test is offered as two PDFs: a questions sheet and an answers file. The question sheets are very short, usually 3 or 4 pages and in a few cases 8 to 10, because a Mains paper is only a handful of long questions. The answers files are much longer, between roughly 21 and 31 pages, and give the model responses that you compare against your own writing.
Test 1 and a few other first files carry no page count in our data, so treat those as short question sheets too. A schedule PDF attached to the first test on the source site is not study material and has been removed.
A routine for Hindi-medium writers
The hardest part of Mains for Hindi-medium candidates is not knowledge but expression within the word limit. Using these tests as a drill can fix that over a few weeks.
- Print only the question sheet and write on lined paper under a timer; 150-word answers get about seven to eight minutes each, 250-word ones about twelve.
- Before reading the model answer, mark where your introduction ended and your conclusion began.
- Rewrite one weak answer a day using ideas from the answers file, but in your own sentences.
- Collect good Hindi phrases for recurring themes, such as federalism, welfare delivery or climate adaptation, in a small notebook.
Relation to the Mains papers
The tests are arranged around the four GS papers of the Civil Services Main examination, together with practice relevant to the essay paper. Some tests lean to history and society, others to governance and international relations, others to economy and security, and a few to ethics case studies. Look at the first page of each question sheet to see which paper it simulates, then align your syllabus revision with it.
On paper
Writing practice works best with a printed question sheet and a proper answer booklet. Competer offers printed mains test series material through the link on this page.
